Developing and producing gluten-free bakery products since 1996. The company is owned and operated by Lena and Gunnar Adås. Fria Bröd is the market leader in the industry and was awarded the Golden Ear Award from the Swedish Society for Celiacs in 1997 and the Swedish Celiac Youth Society’s Fork Award in 2002 for its good products. Production takes place in a safe, gluten-free environment and the products are baked from the company’s own flour blend. In order to guarantee product safety and quality, raw ingredients and finished products are continually checked in the bakery and the lab. After they are baked, the products are frozen to retain the fresh-baked flavour and consistency. The Fria brand guarantees that all products are gluten-free. Fria products are currently sold in the Nordic countries and the Netherlands. Fria Bröd is the market leader in Sweden and Norway and is growing rapidly in other countries. The company currently employs a total of 31 people. Fria Bröd aims to advance the gluten-free market and improve the lives of people with gluten intolerances by providing delicious, nutritious bread. |

Jan Söderholm – Sales Manager Jan joined Fria Bröd in 2008 and has many years of experience with food sales and marketing in Sweden and for export. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor life with his family and Aldo the dog, as well as spending a few hours on the golf course. |

Nanna Mossberg – Registered Dietician Nanna started working at Fria Bröd in 2007. She has longstanding experience with allergy issues through her work at Sahlgrenska Hospital, where Nanna gained extensive knowledge about food hypersensitivities, including celiac disease. When she is not working, Nanna enjoys salsa dancing, the outdoors and travelling to the far corners of the world! |
