This is a recipe for a gluten-free quiche. Quiche is great for everyday meals or any special occasion, such as Christmas, Easter, or a typical Swedish crayfish party. With gluten-free puff pastry, you can quickly and easily create a gluten-free quiche that everyone can enjoy.

Serves 6 to 8 people

Ingredients

  • ½ packet gluten-free puff pastry
  • 300 ml Västerbotten cheese (or any other strong cheese)
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 ml cream
  • 100 ml milk
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of cayenne pepper

HOW TO MAKE IT

  • Start by setting the oven to 225°C. Then roll out the gluten-free puff pastry and press it into a 24-cm pie dish. Prick the pastry lightly with a fork and prebake in the oven for 10 minutes.

  • Lower the oven temperature to 200°C. Distribute the cheese evenly in the pie case. Then take a bowl and whisk together the eggs, cream, milk, salt, and cayenne pepper. Pour the mixture over the cheese and bake for around 25 to 30 minutes. Let the gluten-free quiche cool slightly before serving.
